California’s Lady Condors Are on the Map

Cal Hi’s Lady Condors competed in Pacifica High School’s annual “Lady Triton Invitational” this past Saturday in Oxnard, their second wrestling tournament of the season. A total of four wrestlers entered the tournament, two which placed in their respective weight classes. Marissa Berber captured the gold at 132 lbs with nearly all pins. Maryah Meyer was also successful in her division, making an amazing comeback after being knocked into the consolation bracket by a state placer and taking bronze at 138 lbs. Our lower weights, Leslie Garcia (98 lbs) and Chantel Ramirez (103 lbs), wrestled tough and had some wins as well as close matches. Cal Hi’s lady wrestlers are now on the map! Congratulations ladies and great job!
