Team So. Cal. Workouts

Team So Cal will be holding workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 6:30 to 8:30 at Los Alamitos High School. (The room is around back by the pool)

 All are welcome.

I was very impress how the team performed this weekend, sixteen wrestlers 92 matches. I hope you guys return next year as this will be an annual event.  I hope you guys grow as a team and take the words of coach Campo in to next season.  Practices resume Wednesday June 25^th  6:00pm-8:00pm, and Summer League begins Thursday June 26,2008 we meet at Cal at 5:15pm.  Have Faith in yourself and wrestle.

Seventeen Condor wrestlers kicked off their summer by attending the Lake Arrowhead Camp.  Everyone got an opportunity to learn some technique from Jose Campo but mainly everyone got a chance to have some live wrestling against other schools.  

Wrestlers wrestled over 90 individual matches in eight duals and exhibition matches. Cal posted wins over Glendora (38-14), Nevada (51-6), Rim of the World (32-22), Mater Dei 40-23, and Trabuco Hills (?-?).  In all, we went 5-3, losing to Peninsula, Little Rock, and Fountain Valley.  Most importantly; however,  Condor wrestlers got a chance to bond with teammates  and build some memories that will last a lifetime.  The wrestlers will head back Sunday after some fun in the lake.   

We will have more wrestling with summer league matches (starts next week) and other fun activities as a team.

• bedding to fit a twin size mattress (ie: sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags, and pillows)
• wrestling gear (wrestling & running shoes and 3 days worth of workout clothes)
• an attitude of a champion

Camp will NOT provided  lunch or dinner..

Showers at school will be available.
